HOLIDAY EVENTS IN DOWNTOWN PLYMOUTH

The Walk of Trees takes place between Nov. 24 and Jan. 1 in Kellogg Park.

Friday 11/24 starting at 5:15 p.m.-Santa's Arrival in Downtown Plymouth.
  • PCEP Choir takes the stage at 5:15 p.m.
  • Children's holiday entertainment featuring Joel Tacey on stage in Kellogg Park from 5:30 p.m.-6 p.m.
  • Santa arrives by fire truck, greets kids and receives the key to the city of Plymouth at 6 p.m.
  • Lighting of the holiday tree in Kellogg Park.
  • Free hot chocolate provided by the Salvation Army.
  • The Plymouth Historical Museum will be open from 6-8 p.m. Entry to the "A Dickens of a Christmas" exhibit and Santa's Workshop is FREE! Kids can make holiday themed arts and crafts on the lower level of the museum.


Plymouth Historical Museum Holiday Events
  • 11/8-12/31-A Dickens of a Christmas exhibit. Visit plymouthhistory.org for hours.
  • 12/10 2-4 p.m. A Dickens Holiday Tea-Period dressed vocalists and musicians perform skits and sing holiday songs.
  • Santa makes museum visits every Saturday and Sunday through Christmas.

Thursday 12/7 5 p.m.-9 p.m.-Christmas in Plymouth-City Sidewalks Dressed in Holiday Style
  • Horse and carriage rides around Downtown Plymouth (presale tickets only sold at the Sun & Snow Sports).
  • Schoolcraft College Brass Ensemble.
  • Evenin' Gentlemen Barbershop Quartet.
  • Shopping specials starting at 5 p.m.
  • Community holiday sing-along at 8:30 p.m. at Ann Arbor Tr. and Forest near the front of the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce.
  • Take pictures with reindeer, elves and other holiday themed items around Downtown Plymouth!

Sunday 12/10 7-8:30 p.m. Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting in Kellogg Park
  •  Honor the memories of the sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and grandchildren who died too soon with a candle light vigil and remembrance ceremony.


Thursday 12/14 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.-Michigan Philharmonic-Holiday Pops with the Phil at the Penn Theatre
  • The Michigan Phil performs traditional Christmas carols, festive sounds of Hanukah and holiday pops favorites.

Sunday 12/17 Heartbeat of Plymouth Community Carol Sing from 4 to 5 p.m. in Kellogg Park
