Local Artists Exhibit - Mar. 2 - Mar. 30
Each year Lotus Arts Gallery invites artists in the local area to show their work. This year's exhibit will present 18 Michigan artists consisting of various styles and techniques, including painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, woodworking, and more. Meet the artists at the opening reception on Friday, March 12, 2010, from 6 to 9 p.m. Please join us for an exceptional evening of fine art while enjoying complimentary hors d’oeuvres, beverages, and conversations with the artists.

Dearborn Jewelers Diamond Jubilee Kick Off Party - Mar. 20
The party is to celebrate Dearborn Jewelers' 60th anniversary in business - their diamond jubilee (no small feat in these economic times.)
"My dad started Dearborn Jewelers as a watch repair take-in bench inside a dry cleaning store April 1st, 1950," adds Nick Pavlich, Jr. Nick is known as "the Wizard", and he works his magic in gold, platinum, diamonds and precious gemstones as the master bench jeweler.
The diamond jubilee begins with a kick-off party Saturday, March 20th which will include refreshments, live music, and a free gift with purchase to the first 100 party goers. The sale event runs through Saturday, April 3rd and the grand prize is: some lucky person is going to win a .60 carat Lazare Diamond - "the world's most beautiful diamond" - valued at over $3,200.00. Historical Museum's Collector's Showcase - Mar. 20
Come check out local collectables at the Plymouth Historical Museum during the Museum's monthly "Collectors Showcase." You are also invited to showcase your own collectables. Tables are being offered free to collectors, which are either 8' x 30" or 4' round and are provided uncovered. Collectors are free to sell their collectables during the event. We have limited tables available, so they will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis, with a limit of two tables per collector.

Sagear Scholarship - Mar. 30
The Rotary Club of Plymouth A.M. is striving to recognize a Plymouth-Canton High School Senior who has overcome adversity. We are looking for students who have displayed courage, perseverance, spirit, and creativity in succeeding in achieving an education, despite a physical, mental or emotional barrier. They have also shown an appreciation of others and a commitment to their community. The recipient of this award will receive a scholarship. This award is named after Sandra Sagear a 1969 graduate of the original Plymouth High School who imagined and believed she could succeed as she lived everyday with Polio.

When: Application deadline is March 30, 2010 and the award winner will be anounced on April 16, 2010.
