Plymouth Ice Sculpture Spectacular
Pegasus.jpg

The Plymouth Ice Spectacular still reigns as the oldest and largest Ice Carving Festival of its kind. Normally held the last weekend in January.

The  annual event will feature over 100 statues carved from a single block of ice; numerous multiple block sculptures utilizing from 5 to 100 blocks; dozens of high school, community college, university, and professional ice carvers crafting dazzling statues from 330-pound blocks of ice and a series of special homecoming events. Carvers from Japan as well as United States Champion Carvers will all be dazzling guests with their unique works of art.

In addition to the World Class Ice Carving Competitions, visitors to Plymouth  Ice Sculpture Spectacular will enjoy the festive surroundings of Downtown Plymouth with carving competitions centered in Kellogg Park and additional sculptures located in front of the many shops and restaurants. An eclectic collection of shops showcasing unique clothing, jewelry, gifts and home accents. Nestled between new, trendy shops, you'll also find old friends offering the products and services that have kept them in business here for many years. Over 24 eateries dot the downtown landscape with a variety of tasty offerings from elegant to ethnic to casual.
